Look Up Telephone Number And Prank Calls

The progress of the information age is continuous. The internet alone allows a level of communications only dreamed about several decades ago. The level of crime connected with these new advances has also grown. A virus can attack one computer or create system wide problems. Families can be attacked by those with less than honorable intentions. If you or your family is getting harassing telephone calls from someone, you need to know who is behind it with a reverse lookup. This is not necessary for a one-time prank. However, a pattern of calls is another matter.

Thankfully, technology allows you to very easily learn someone?s identity with only a phone number. A telephone reverse lookup search will unveil the intruder. There are many sites that offer lookup assistance. All you need to do is find the right site for you online and then enter the number that you see with caller ID or your phone statement. The search company you choose will provide the name and address associated with the phone number for a small charge. You can also find out his or her occupation, their household members’ names and their former address.

If you believe that you do not have the time, money or ability to conduct your own telephone lookup search, you are incorrect. These searches are generally easy and cost effective. You could also pay a little extra to create a detailed search for a friend or relative or classmate or even a former lover with whom you have lost touch. Free sites also yield results but they may not cover everything as they will not have access to cell numbers or unlisted phone numbers in their data bases. They also will not have current information. {So “free” is sometimes expensive if it is wasting your time, since time is money. Sometimes going for free sites could become expensive as you will wind up wasting your valuable time and as we all know, time is money. }

If you need to match a phone number to a person, there are a few options available for you. Sometimes, we miss calls from unrecognized numbers, so we’re left wondering who’s been trying to reach us. Try these solutions and see if you can’t match a phone number to a person.

1. This may sound crazy, but you might just want to call the number back! You may immediately recognize the person’s voice, but if not, just ask if them if they meant to call you. If you dial but they don’t answer the phone, listen to the answering machine to find out whose voicemail you’ve called. If you’re sure the number is a cell phone, send a text message if you don’t feel comfortable calling the number.

2. Use Google as a phone search engine. Type in the number in question into Google with quotations around it. If that returns no results replace the hyphens with periods and search again. This will only work if the caller has posted their number on a public website. Don’t worry though; there are other ways to match a number to a person.

3. Ask a peer. Maybe a friend or a family member knows to whom it belongs.

4. By far the fastest and easiest solution when trying to match a phone number to a person is to use a phone lookup. Simply type in the telephone number, whether it’s a cell phone or land line, and check the results.

Learn The Facts On Phone Numbers

If you want to call somebody but do not know their telephone number, there are a few methods to find it. The standard methodology of locating phone numbers is to utilise the telephone book. The average telephone book has home and business lists alphabetically arranged and grouped into locality. In the back, you will find the Yellow Pages, which contain advertisements and contact information for a variety of businesses. These days, however, many people are choosing to have unlisted numbers in order to protect their privacy. This makes things a bit harder, although not impossible.

You can regularly find telephone numbers on the web. One way to do this is via a search engine like Google or Yahoo. Sometimes, if you simply input the person’s name you will come up with their telephone number. This most frequently works for folk who are listed. For instance, if you’re searching for somebody who is living in another locality than you and thus isn’t listed in your telephone book, a search site question just might point you to their number.

Naturally, you may not come up with anything. In that case, you’ll need a little help. There are a wide variety of agencies on the Internet who specialize in helping you find contact information. Some of them are free, and some of them cost money to use. Some offer free features and paid features. Most of them charge either by the month or per search. Often , you’ll have to pay to find an unlisted number. Whether you must do this depends upon your incentives for looking up the number in the 1st place.

Another way to find phone numbers is by performing a reverse search. There are a number of reverse search directories online that are free to use. When doing a reverse search, you will need information about the person such as their name, email address or physical address. Often , when you input this info you’ll be able to find their telephone number. This isn’t always the case, however. For folks who you’ve deemed most unlikely to find, the services of a personal investigator might be needed. While this is the costliest way to find somebody, you are certain to get the data you want as today’s investigators have access to hi-tech resources and databases that the public doesn’t.

iPhone Insurance: Are there any free cellular lookups portals ?

cell lookup

I’m  looking for a free online reverse search portal. Where should I go?

There  are a number of free places that you can consult when you’re searching  for a free reverse phone directory. One of the first places that comes to mind is the  local 411 or yellow pages.

How reliable are those directories in  terms of the information that they provide?

The common flaw that these services share is the fact  that you cannot look up cellular and unlisted phone numbers. We cannot  expect much from a free “charity” service like that. So if you’re  looking up a mobile telephone number or a de-listed number you will  most certainly not find it there. There are better alternatives which  are described below.

Landline telephone numbers are all over the place, they’re as easy as uzor polosa

Land lines can be  looked up and stored by anyone, otherwise we wouldn’t have phone books  in every other phone booth. Due to illegal telemarketing practices the  telephone numbers have become a little bit harder to come by, but not  by much.

Why are the de-listed and cellular numbers so hard to track?

The main reason for that is the level of effort that it  takes to assemble the telephone numbers since they are not found in the  main phone registrar (namely the cellular and the unlisted numbers).  The main registrar doesn’t have the cell phones for several one or  more reasons listed below.

Privacy concerns

If someone calls you on a landline and starts pitching you a  product you might be mad because the person on the other line is taking  up your time, but if that someone calls you on a cell phone and does  the same you might end up paying for the phone call on a per minute  basis. It  would be normal if you wanted to find out who gave away your telephone  number to the pesky telemarketers and if you discovered that it was  your phone carrier then you might ask them to pick up the bill, which  they would not want to do.

SMS spam

Bulk SMS messages are an every day  annoyance in several big Asian countries. Since many carriers make you  pay for SMS messages even if you’re on the receiving end, SBMS might  hurt you financially as well as mentally.

Where to go to find a record on a cell phone  number?

If you search hard you will be able to find 2 or 3 companies  that offer high quality reverse cell phone look ups. When you get to their site make sure to perform a sample  look up to see if the phone number that interests you can be found in  the database.
