There is much information on the Internet with regard the Samsung Conquer 4G. These are all speculative details and are pretty much all the same information. The phone was supposed to have been released already, but it seems that you will have to wait a bit longer for this phone, which was already approved by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). The information which is available was briefly captured from the Samsung website, before it was removed. This could have been a deliberate leak to, in fact, give it the exposure and expectancy, which is doing the rounds.

The question you need to ask yourself is this: “Is a Smart Phone like the Samsung Conquer a Luxury or a Necessity?”. To the individual, the Samsung Conquer as a mid-range phone could certainly be seen as a necessity and not as a luxury by most. The features on the phone are not as dynamic that it would be afforded the term luxury. It would be just enough to give you a decent phone experience, which is not over the top. You are able to do this easily as the phone comes with WiMax. It gives you your normal mobile phone abilities and access to the Internet as well. In many ways the Internet is no longer a luxury, but a necessity for everyone to be in contact with a globalized world. With the Sprint technology on board and its Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it makes it worthwhile as an Internet browser. The result is that you could do quite a bit with this phone.

With a 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen, it cannot actually be seen as a luxury as the screen is not as big as that of other touch screens. It would certainly give you a normal phone view and will not make you feel that you are in fact flirting with luxury. It is also not quite a luxury phone as the cost would be much less than a luxury phone. The phone will slot into the market where people would be able to afford it as a necessity and not just buy it as a luxury. Your choice of the Samsung Conquer 4G will definitely place it in a necessary item category and not as a luxury item.

In the global world we live in, it has become necessary to stay in touch with people (friends, family and even with business) electronically and, hence, the mobile phone can fulfill this purpose. You cannot place this phone in the same category as a business phone, but you can conduct business with it at a small scale. You have a 3.2 megapixel camera rear facing camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, which can come in handy when you do conduct your small scale business as you do not need a high-end camera to show some product photos. You also have the option of video calling.

With the Sprint ID packs (supported by Sprint), you can download applications and themes as well as widgets to make your the Conquer 4G more accessible to you. Your phone thus becomes more of a practical necessity than a luxury. The applications will be just enough for you to use your phone for practical purposes.

No matter what your thoughts on mobile devices are, be sure to check out the long Samsung Conquer accessories list. Some of the accessories include the Samsung Conquer case and the Samsung Conquer screen protector to protect your valuable screen no matter what the size.

Comparing The Latest Smart Phones

posted by Catt Mallen
Monday, February 7, 2011

The Samsung Transform was only released by Korean media giant Samsung last month in October, but it is already being compared to the range of smart phones offered by Samsung and similar competitors. This should come as no surprise, as virtually every smart phone these days must be compared to other smart phones in what has become a flooded market of little all in one devices that claim to do everything while compromising nothing.

But what exactly sets the Samsung Transform apart? As a middele end smart phone, the Transform is not expected to compete with the Apple iPhone 4, but it offers more features than the low end phones such as the BlackBerry Style. This article will describe some of the features offered by the Samsung Transform and how they stack up to features offered by other smart phones either already on the market or about to hit the market.

The first thing most people who look at the Samsung Transform are likely to notice is the built in QWERTY keyboard. This immediately sets the Transform apart, as the majority of smart phones you are likely to find on the market these days come with digital keyboards on their touch screens. You can still use the digital keyboard on the Transform, but it offers you the chance to type with a keyboard that offers tactile feedback, which has become rarer these days in the world of smart phones. The Samsung Moment and Intercept also offer QWERTY keyboards, so if you have one of those smart phones, you will already be used to this.

What you may not be used to, however, is the LED flash and front facing camera that both come with the Samsung Transform. There are lots of smart phones out there that come with rear facing cameras; in fact, it is almost fair to say that nearly every smart phone made today will have a rear facing camera, although the quality of those cameras may vary significantly. Nonetheless, front facing cameras are becoming a new trend, and the Transform accommodates that. Ditto with the LED flash for better picture taking.

In addition to the aforementioned features offered by the Transform, there are also many different Samsung Transform accessories you can take advantage of. There should be leftover money to spend on accessories since the Transform does not cost as much as other phones. For example, you might want to look into a Samsung Transform battery to help you keep talking when your regular battery goes dead and you are too far from a charger for it to be of use. Similarly, you can’t go wrong with a Samsung Transform case. You can get one in leather or plastic and either will offer your smart phone more protection against the elements than it would have if it were reliant only on its small plastic shell.

All The IPhone 4 Accessories You Need To Buy

Many individuals have gotten excited by the iPhone 4′s recent release. The new model offers several innovative capabilities, and scores of individuals have flocked to get one of their own and see for themselves what it can do. Apple itself is undoubtedly the party most concerned with the success of the iPhone’s launch. However, many people who make and see the iPhone 4 accessories actually could earn from the release of this product.

You already know you are going to need to buy some accessories for your new phone. As an example, it is important to procure a screen film in order to keep the touch screen on the device crisp and clean. It is no secret that touch screens can be fragile and easily scratched. And without a screen which could function properly, you would not be able to use the phone well. Therefore, a screen film is a must for your iPhone 4.

Another accessory you may want to invest in is a Bluetooth headset made specifically for the iPhone 4. As you may read from the newspapers, the ability of this phone for receiving phone calls is not very good. When the bars of the phone frame are touched, the signal weakens, which results in a lesser ability to receive phone calls; if the Bluetooth headset is used, the need to touch the phone will be reduced. As a result, you can enjoy the conversation using iPhone 4 easily.

There are numerous accessories for the iPhone such as the Dexim DCA192 Dock for iPhone 4 3GS iPod or even the Griffin GB01714 Elan Wallet Perforated iPhone 4. Long known for producing durable screen protectors for mobile devices is Zagg. The Zagg InvisibleSHIELD Full Body designed exclusively for the iPhone 4 is a popular item.

Because the iPhone series of mobile phone screens are so fragile, it’s best to buy a screen protector before you even get the phone. iPhones are known to be fragile, and the iPhone 4 is no exception. Indeed, everyone should have a case so that the phone resists damage. When shopping for a case, make sure it has good shock absorption to prevent your phone from being damaged, should you drop it.

Apple actually provides several of the most necessary iPhone 4 accessories in the package purchased with your phone. However, it is possible to purchase upgraded version of those basic accessories, which you are likely to find are well worth the extra expense.

T-Mobile Releases The Next Generation MyTouch

posted by Catt Mallen
Sunday, October 3, 2010

Once again capitalizing on the overwhelmingly popular droid phones, T-Mobile and HTC have released another new Android product onto the market. The HTC myTouch 3G Slide phone is the latest edition to the HTC myTouch family most T-Mobile Android users have become familiar with. While this product should be able to help attract new users to use the Android operating system, it is a bit of a disappointment to those who were expecting something a little flashier and more competitive.

While initially seen as a competitor for the HTC Incredible or Droid 2, this is really more of a mid-range phone within the same class of the original Motorola Droid or LG Ally. The processor speed is a disappointing 600mhz for those looking for a high end product, though the HTC version of the 2.1 Android operating system performs fairly well despite this. Although the myTouch 3G Slide is not the device most thought it would end up to be, the price of it surely makes up for it and fits within the category it fits into.

The slide out keyboard is the main new feature, meant to draw in users who are new to Android touch screens. The rounded keys do make a far better solution than the more flat design seen by other slide phones like the original Motorola Droid or the Devour. The touch screen is larger than the original myTouch, coming in at 3.4 inches. This may not seem like much of an increase over the 3.2 inch screen of the original myTouch , but it makes a huge difference in viewing and use. The detracting factor from this screen is the resolution. The screen resolution on this device only comes in at 480 x 320.

Even though that keyboard is a positive improvement, we’re most likely to see more action with the touch screen since the myTouch 3G Slide features Swype typing capability. A 3G MyTouch Slide screen protector is apt to be a good investment, even for those who initially think they will use the keyboard for most operations. As far as myTouch 3G Slide accessories are concerned, a myTouch 3G Slide case might be an important get as well. This is mostly because the back on this phone feels a little cheap and unable to withstand much of an impact.

It is uncertain when the myTouch 3G Slide can be expected to update to the 2.2 operating system. The proprietary software running on this phone would make it likely for that update to take some time to come through. With HTC being one of the original users of the Android system, they have perfected the OS for their phones fairly well, making this less of an issue. The Genius button allowing for voice commands is top notch and will also make this a draw for new users. The Faves gallery gathers social network information for up to 20 friends making this a very social friendly phone. The Slide can be favorably compared to most mid-level Android phones.
