Apple has recently launch its new generation of iPod Touch (3rd generation). Although it does come with a couple of new features, the major features of the 2nd generation iPod Touch remain unchanged. Here is a quick look at this new model to help you decide if it is worth the upgrade.
The model that we have reviewed is the iPod Touch 32GB 3rd Generation model. With its amazing portability and new feature addition the device is an improvement over excellence. The WiFi connectivity, improved accessibility, amazing Voice Control and superb graphic enhancements are the icing on the cake. The features are many and different users like it for different features. For instance its web browsing and e-mail support is liked by some while others love it as a portable gaming device and still others adore it for great old- fashioned music and video playback.
The major improvements can be witnessed in the features of the 3rd generation iPod Touch. Improvements have been made to the Genius play-list feature. Now the Genius feature is even more powerful. A Genius Mixes feature has been added to help you select a mix of songs in a play-list according to genre. All you do is sync iPod touch to iTunes, and Genius automatically searches your library to find songs that sound great together. Then it creates multiple mixes you’ll love. These mixes are like channels programmed entirely with your music.
Voice Control on the new 32 GB iPod touch gives you the ability to control music playback with spoken commands. All you need to do is to hold the headphone remote button and speak the commands into the microphone. Besides basic controls like ‘next song’ and play, you can also call out song names and the name of the artists that you wish to listen to. Voice Control knows the music in your iPod touch. Want to hear something specific? All you have to do is ask. For instance, say “Play artist Bob Dylan,” and iPod touch does just that. Ask what song is playing and hear iPod touch answer. Tell it to play your favorite album, artist, or playlist.
The new 32 GB iPod touch come with the Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic. So you can reap the benefits (and the fun) of Voice Control even when your 32 GB iPod touch is tucked in your pocket or bag. To activate Voice Control using the headphones, just press and hold the center area of the remote that is built in to the cord of the headphones.

Iphone users are already used to having the latest gadgetry on there phone, just one look at the Iphone with its stunning features, a full screen Ipod, an easy to use Internet browser where you can get your emails almost instantly, support for Microsoft Exchange and GPRS (with support for Nike +) in fact its easy to forget its actually a phone as well. The new 3G Iphone is available in more languages and more countries than ever.
Getting a new ringtone for you Iphone is easy, and if you use Itunes then the selection is fantastic, well over half a million songs to choose from. With some great classics and all the current chart hits the only issue you’re going to have is narrowing down exactly what you want for your ringtone. The massive choice available from using Itunes and the fact that the ringtone once downloaded is yours to keep are a good enough reason but the price of just under $2 is another reason. This is a fun feature that will have you answering each call, knowing exactly who the person is right at that first ring.
Many people are now addicted to there Iphones, this feature rich device impresses on so many levels. The ability to be online, use their cell phone and have iPod technology right in the palms of their hands is so useful. This is a device you’ll you will never tire of using.
