One group of analysts said the global market for mobile phones surged 35 percent in the third quarter commanding a nearly 100 percent increase in smart phone sales. The Captivate weighs in at 4.5 ounces, 0.3 ounces lighter than the iPhone 4 and it is just 0.39 inches thick. The Xperia X10, which weighs 4.8 ounces, includes microSD up to 16GB, (8GB included) and an 8.1 MP camera with a 1 GHz processor. Even so, Motorola’s BRAVO will hold its own with a slightly larger screen at 3.7-inch touch screen and Adobe Flash 10.1 support as well as video recording and playback and CrystalTalk PLUS, which cancels out background noise to enable you to improve hearing your caller through the use of two microphones that filter out a noisy environment.

In my view, a mobile telephone of this blueprint should have WiFi as standard.
