Sony Ericsson T610
Released in 2003, Sony Ericsson T610 brought major innovations to the design of mobiles. This model was among the first to include joystick navigation, a color screen, bluetooth technology and a built-in camera. It caught so well on the market that it made huge sales climbing up in the top of popularity for the mobiles in its generation. Still produced, Sony Ericsson T610 can only be purchased in one of the following colors: Abyss Blue, Volcanic Red and Aluminum Haze. The most common variant of this design is the aluminum color, which brought some complaints from customers who would have liked to enjoy something a bit more vivid or daring.
Even to this day, the most widely sold color of Sony Ericsson T610 is Aluminum haze. In all phone designs, the silvery keypad is a standard. The phone has an incorporated camera, it can use the WAP for Internet connections, it uses polyphonic ring tones and Java formats. Since the design and the technical features are somehow obsolete, you cannot expect built-in hands-free or speaker phone capabilities. In many opinions, Sony Ericsson T610 proves a pretty sophisticated phone even for our times. Although there are slight variations between the European and the American models, the features are pretty much the same.
The most serious criticism brought to Sony Ericsson T610 is the fact that the joystick can turn on the phone or cause some unexpected dial outs. This could lead not only to premature battery wear but also to some people listening to unwanted conversations. The camera works pretty slowly and the quality of the pictures is reduced. For the year when it was released, Sony Ericsson T610 was an innovation, but for our times, the phone is mediocre and obsolete.
Last but not least, Sony Ericsson T610 allows voice commands, and, it is not at all over-priced; plus, it has a pretty long life expectancy. Moreover, nobody can complain that this phone is jammed with useless features because it only includes the very necessary items for an enjoyable phone use experience. Therefore, in case you consider buying an older but good phone model, we warmly recommend Sony Ericsson T610. However, it’s not wise to take any word of advice literally without testing the phone in the first place.

iPhone Insurance: Sony Ericsson P990i
Sony Ericsson P990i is one of the many mobiles produced by a company with a worldwide reputation in electronics and communications. As it happens with most other electronic devices, there are pros and cons about this item that should be carefully analyzed before going shopping.
According to both users and experts Sony Ericsson P990i has so far been one of the best of Sony Ericsson smart phones. It has a sleek design and it incorporates a QWERTY keyboard with the latest developments in mobile phone technology. The business card scanner, the video recording option with the Wi-Fi networks, the 3G/UMTS platforms, the music player, the good photo camera, make by far the best advertising means for this cellular.
The weak points of Sony Ericsson P990i are the size, as it is a bit bulky, the fact that the QWERTY keyboard is considered too small by some users, and the price, which is too high, making it less affordable. Thus, although the perfect choice for tech-oriented users, the price of this telephone is by far out of the reach of an average buyer.
The installed memory of Sony Ericsson P990i is of 64 megabytes, while it also includes an external memory device. There are many elements that this design provides for messaging/data services, and here we refer to WAP 2.0, email applications, messaging, voice mail, Internet browser, JAVA applications and many others.
The phone also is also jam-packed with a lot of features from the cellular domain such as polyphonic ringers, vibrating alerts, internal antenna, conference calls, call hold and timer, computer linking options, call transfer and divert and so on.
Let us not overlook additional features that are also worth considering such as video clip recording and Radio Data Service, Bluetooth, IEE 802.11b or Infrared. Music lovers will also enjoy the AAC, MP3 digital audio standards of Sony Ericsson P990i. Moreover, the huge 540-minute talk time and the 400-hour stand-by battery life, speak well in favor of this device. It also has a very audible battery alert.
Ever since Sony Ericsson P990i was presented by the company in its concept form, it has incited many high-tech interested users and professionals who need or want to be up-to-date with the latest trends. But, as mentioned before, the phone is also a budgetary challenge for many of those interested in the purchase.
