PocketMac Iphone ringtone creator

Got an Iphone and want some new kick ass tunes, well it may have been some time since apple added the ability to create custom Iphone ringtones in Itunes, and yes whilst this is a major step forward it does have 2 limitations. First you can only create ringtones from content you have bought, which is suppose is kind of fair, second you need to pay 99 cents for each customer ringtone you make, Doesn’t sound a lot but it will soon add up read on and we can show you how to make the same ringtone quickly and easily.

Enter PocketMac’s RingtoneStudio this nifty little piece of software allows you to make your own ringtone from almost any audio or video file on your Mac’s hard drive and even better its so easy to use.The only limitation is that the files must not be DRM protected (the downside to Itunes). To create your own customer ringtone is easy simply drag and drop a song, sound or video (even quicktime compatible video) file onto the ringtone studio window, testing this functionality we managed to convert a wide array of files quickly and easily. The only limitation we found was the DRM-protected files

Once you have loaded up your tune, video or sound then PocketMac Ringtone Studio for iPhone allows you to crop the source into a much smaller file which can easily be transfered to your Iphone. The PocketMac's cropping tool allows you to grab just the right section of audio for your personal ringtone. Depending on the length of your ringtone you will get different options if the sample is less than 30 seconds long then Ringtone studio will automatically converts the whole file into and iphone ringtone and places it neatly in your Itunes ringtone collection. If the sample is longer than 30 seconds then you get the option to clip out which ever 30 second section you wnat, again once selected the ringtones will be placed in Itunes, hopefully in a later version you will be able to clip longer and shorter lengths but as limitations go it wont casuse you too many issues.

If most of the music on your Hard drive has been purchased from the Itunes store then you may not find this tool too useful, as DRM-protected songs can only be converted by Itunes (at 99c a go) . But if you have plenty of good non protected music or videos then you can easily soon create a rather impressive range of ringtones for your iphone

Not long ago, everyone had a landline phone in their home and locating a number or address simply required opening the white pages and searching for their name. It is often more complex now that cell phones are in common use and many people do not even have landlines, and if they do their number may be unlisted.

These days most landlines have caller ID and since it has been in use, there is ways that you people can call you without identifying themselves. Some new things have come out to help with people who use the phone in a way for you not to know who is calling. Reverse phone number search services have some ways for you to combat unidentified callers. There are two different functions for these services…

#1. Name Location

Anytime you use a reverse phone search service, the main objective is to figure out the name behind the number. All you have to do is punch a number into the system and it will spit out a complete name that is associated with the phone number in question. This way the next time it happens you’ll know who is calling you.

This method of finding a name is often used in spying on someone. Whether its your spouse, or you child’s cell phone, to see who is calling them.

A reverse phone directory helps, when you are uncertain who the number belongs to that shows up on your phone. Others use this to find a number that may be for a home phone that is unpublished.

#2. Finding Addresses

If you are looking for an address reverse phone lookup helps with that as well. By simply putting in the contact information you will be entitled to an array of different information as well. One of the extra features you get is the ability to get an address of the home landline, or even a cell phone as well.

Being able to quickly unveil an address could be a key to your child’s safety. Sometimes a child may stay out past curfew, or may have run away, or you simply just need to track them down. By knowing the phone number of possible places they could be can get you addresses so that you know where to find them. Now this isn’t going to happen all the time but if it does having this service help dramatically.

Another use of the service could be that you are trying to get a hold of a child’s parents for a birthday party. However, you are unable to reach them by calling them for an address, you can enter their number and get and address to mail out your invitations.

This service has grown so much since inception where now you can even find a site that can give you a map of where a home or business is located, or income brackets and full address history.

Some look at it as a service that should be provided and not charged. However, this is money well spent if there is a life altering situation that requires it, or maybe a business proposal that has to be mailed out. Either way the services is well worth the very small fee.

The fee is unavoidable because this variety of information is not easy or free to research, compile, and save, so dispensing it on demand to consumers such as you must also collect a charge to make up for these operational expenditures.

There more than likely will never be a phone book for cell phone numbers, and even if there were most likely a lot of the numbers would be unlisted as is the case with many landline numbers today.

The only way to obtain access to these phone numbers is to put up a minor charge either to do a single number search or to join a lookup directory if you will be using the directory on a regular basis.
