iPhone Insurance

When Apple finally announced the details of the new iphone 3G, it was clear that this new Iphone would be more popular, have more features and be in greater demand than any of the previous hugely successful Iphones. The new Iphone 3G allows you to download and browse the web quicker and easier than before, the new features have been well thought out and unlike some updated devices where the new features are just gimmicks Apple have thought out these new features to give us a truly superb experience and a remarkable phone

Ok so what are these amazing features, well Apple have really gone to town this time, you can copy images and text directly from the web, into other applications. Text and images can also be copied between apps on the Iphone itself. If you want to undo anything there’s no need to do a control-z as you would in Excel no simply shake the phone, ok im a geek but thats pretty damm cool. In terms of writing, punctuation is a breeze as the iphone punctuates automatically, the phone predicts words as you type making it quicker and easier than ever before. Another neat feature is the ability to turn the phone horizontally and type as if you were using a standard PC keyboard, Apple has thought this through making the Iphone more comfortable than ever before when using it. Want to write in a different language , well thats no problem either as you can chose from 40 international languages to type in, there’s a key to toggle between numerical , alphabetic and symbol keyboards and the QWERTY keyboard appears when you need it and disappears when you dont freeing up valuable screen space for other things.

The Iphone excels when you connect to the Web, rather than a mobile web browser, the Iphone offers a much better experience as safari is preloaded, giving you PC like browsing experience. Safari will use WI-Fi, 3H or edge and automtaically use the fastest connection. Sites can be bookmarked, icons can be made to represent the home pages of sites you use most often and you can easily zoom in and out with the touch of a key. Internet tethering as another useful feature, connect your PC to your phone either by USB or bluetooth to give your PC an Internet connection, once connected you can still use your Iphone as normal , neat !

Multimedia messages are easy to send and you can record audio directly onto the phone, the audio levels can be monitored to prevent distortion and triming the audio is a breeze. Once you ready then voice messages can be sent by email or MMS. Messages are displayed in a similar way to a blackberry almost like a chat format. If the message contains a phone number or web address just tap the phone to make the call or connect to the web.
The messaging is great it displays them in a chat format. They give a comic strip sort of look and not the standard look of viewing only one message at a time. In case you receive a phone number in the message then just tap on it to make the call.

To Summarize Apple has kept all the features you would expect, ease of use, ringtones, Internet browsing and added some nice neat features, this device is worth every penny.

Iphone ringtone studio for the MAC

PocketMac Iphone ringtone creator

Got an Iphone and want some new kick ass tunes, well it may have been some time since apple added the ability to create custom Iphone ringtones in Itunes, and yes whilst this is a major step forward it does have 2 limitations. First you can only create ringtones from content you have bought, which is suppose is kind of fair, second you need to pay 99 cents for each customer ringtone you make, Doesn’t sound a lot but it will soon add up read on and we can show you how to make the same ringtone quickly and easily.

Enter PocketMac’s RingtoneStudio this nifty little piece of software allows you to make your own ringtone from almost any audio or video file on your Mac’s hard drive and even better its so easy to use.The only limitation is that the files must not be DRM protected (the downside to Itunes). To create your own customer ringtone is easy simply drag and drop a song, sound or video (even quicktime compatible video) file onto the ringtone studio window, testing this functionality we managed to convert a wide array of files quickly and easily. The only limitation we found was the DRM-protected files

Once you have loaded up your tune, video or sound then PocketMac Ringtone Studio for iPhone allows you to crop the source into a much smaller file which can easily be transfered to your Iphone. The PocketMac's cropping tool allows you to grab just the right section of audio for your personal ringtone. Depending on the length of your ringtone you will get different options if the sample is less than 30 seconds long then Ringtone studio will automatically converts the whole file into and iphone ringtone and places it neatly in your Itunes ringtone collection. If the sample is longer than 30 seconds then you get the option to clip out which ever 30 second section you wnat, again once selected the ringtones will be placed in Itunes, hopefully in a later version you will be able to clip longer and shorter lengths but as limitations go it wont casuse you too many issues.

If most of the music on your Hard drive has been purchased from the Itunes store then you may not find this tool too useful, as DRM-protected songs can only be converted by Itunes (at 99c a go) . But if you have plenty of good non protected music or videos then you can easily soon create a rather impressive range of ringtones for your iphone

Purchase PocketMac's RingtoneStudio here

The IPhone Features You Don’t Read About

iPhone Insurance The IPhone Features You Don’t Read About.

You will never understand just how great an iPhone really is until you own one for yourself. Sure, we have all read the usual blurb about all the exciting features, but there are some fantastic useful little routines.
Apple has it’s own RSS reader. You can very quickly see anything of interest to you without having to browse through all the various news sites.
If you are on a web page and need to scroll to the top, simply tap the top of the screen and you will be taken there instantly. A lovely touch.
The built-in dictionary will learn words you spell wrong. After the third time it will automatically insert the correct spelling for you.
Editing your text messages and emails is made easier by the “magnifying glass” feature. If you hold your finger on the screen over the text you wish to change, that section is magnified allowing you to place the cursor exactly where you want it.
My personal favorite is the calendar. It’s actually a diary, and you can enter events and set reminder alarms. Its viewable by day, month or by a list of your events and appointments. Superb.
I would be so lost without it now, and after owning one, you would be too. Make sure you arrange good iPhone Insurance so if the worst happens, you can get a replacement for your lost or stolen phone (or afford to have a broken iPhone repaired).
