All appliances with the energy star are already deemed to be green and you even have the option of going green when it comes to the car thanks to the hybrid. However, when looking at purchasing your next mobile, will there be an option out there for somebody who wants to save the world?
Well unbelievably there now is and it comes in the form of Samsung and Sprint teaming up. The new mobile phone is actually made from corn and 80% of recyclable materials are used. The real question is, why hasn’t this been done before? Now that most people in the developed world own at least one mobile phone, it seems crazy why this sort of thing wasn’t released sooner!
To try and make you a greener person, the phone charger itself has the energy star on it and some of the applications for the phones are now put on there beforehand. The Discvoery Channel have pre-loaded apps onto there to help turn you into an even greater greener person. They have even introduced a glossary to help explain things on climate changes.

This may sound like something that is obvious to steer clear from but as I was at work at the time it was certainly not intentional.
Basically I had managed to drop my iPhone onto the floor and then had to rush upstairs for a meeting. When I had got back down I had totally forgotten about the phone and slid across the room to my desk space. After feeling a slight bump I just presumed it was the floor or something like that. However it wasn’t at all.
After looking for my phone at a later stage I realised that it was on the floor and picked it up to give it the once over, everything seemed to be working fine until I looked at the back of it. it is impossible to charge the phone as it has cracked just where the charger goes in. Another problem is that I had no way of getting a new one because I didn’t have iPhone insurance.
Because I have had the iPhone for such a long time I think it would be very hard for me to get another phone and get along with it in the same way. I am going to have to go out and spend a lot of money to get another one. Perhaps because I am on contract they will give me a bit of a discount but I can’t see much sympathy coming from them when I haven’t for any insurance of any kind, even that gadget insurance would have sorted me out.
I am now going to go out and get camera insurance as there is no way I am ever taking this kind of risk again. It really is impossible to replace all of the things I have broken in the recent times.
