iPhone Insurance: The iPhone 3G. Everything, Everywhere.
The iPhone 3G. Everything, Everywhere.
The iPhone 3G has a whole host of extra features designed to keep you connected in every way possible, no matter where you are.
The technology that allows you to surf the web using your phones signal has been around for quite some time. The problem is that it’s pretty expensive. You are basically paying for the price of a call on your phone for the duration.
Then, along came WiFi for the phone. This enables you to surf the net using the built-in wireless connection. And (assuming you already have a wireless router, or are using a “Hot Spot”) it’s free.
The iPhone has splendid WiFi connectivity, but suppose you want to get online, and don’t have a WiFi connection, and don’t wish to use your service provider?
Again the iPhone comes to the rescue by providing you with 3G technologies. This is not only much faster than the WiFi, but you can also browse the Internet and send emails whilst talking on the phone, halfway up a mountain. How clever is that?
If there is no 3G available wherever you are, the iPhone also uses the GMS and Edge services which allow voice and data browsing.
Another neat addition is GPS. This will locate exactly where you are, and then find directions and phone numbers of the nearest taxi company, hospital, pub or pizza hut…everything you could ever wish for.
Just one word of warning if you own, or are thinking of buying one of these fantastic devices. Insure it. Make sure you are covered for theft, loss or damage. The longer you own an iPhone, the more you realise life would be impossible without it. They are very sought after, not just by you and I, but by thieves as well.

iPhone Insurance: Pink Mobile Phones Are The Best
The ownership of pink mobile phones, even if your favorite color is not pink, has many advantages. Most electronic items are launched in basic black, for example. Different colors are only introduced once they have become much more popular. If a pink version is available of the cell phone you want, that means that you’ll probably have an easier time of replacing it should it break.
You can always see pink as it is so visible. In the event you happen to lose your mobile this sure comes in handy. Pink is not often used for furniture or carpets despite its popularity amongst young girls.
Pink is associated with a younger crowd. It is almost certain that a cell phone that comes in that particular color would be manufactured to cope with many more everyday knocks. In my view this is due to the fact that young folk below the age of twenty have a habit of being more careless.
The color pink is in fact a lighter shade of the color red. Red is the color that is most often used to warn; for example at stop sign and / or traffic lights. If you do own a pink mobile phone you may well find that the color reduces the amount of use you make of it. If you are close to running out of minutes this may well help, but what if it also prevented you from calling when the matter seemed to be of minor importance but was actually really important. For example, if you are almost positive that you’re having dinner with someone at a certain time but not completely sure, you might keep from calling because the color of your cell phone seems too threatening. Since pink has a bit of white mixed in, it will seem safer to make the call and find out that indeed dinner was at a different restaurant.
I’m not an expert on fashion, but I can see that a pink cell phone could be a fashion statement. I’m sure there are women who overdo this, and have a cell phone to match each and every shade of lipstick that they wear. It is my firmly held view that women such as these really ought to find something far more useful or productive to spend their time on.
Gelett Burgess is one of my favorite poets. He wrote a famous poem which, if I recall correctly began, “I never saw a purple cow, I never hope to see one”.Pink mobile phones would have been firmly placed in the “purple cow” category , before I did any digging for this article. Now that I have had the opportunity to discover how handy a pink mobile phone is, I am definitely going to take them off my “purple cow” list. I’ll see one, someday, hopefully. I like best however the line of Burgess’ poem upon which it finishes: “I’d rather see than be one.”

Since the competition in the mobile phone market is so huge getting cheap cell phones is quite easy, and there are plenty of deals available for all types of mobile needs.
In the modern world cell phones and their great features have made life easier and communication a breeze. Todays cell phones have so many convience features, including, hands-free calling and speedy text messaging. Some of the best cell phone features include, picture messaging, video messaging, mobile TV, Internet browsing, local calling, long distance calling, international calling, wired headsets, blue tooth headsets, a scheduler, a tip calculator, and an address book. Many also buy Verizon ringtones and ringtones for other popular cell phone carriers and overall, people are fascinated with personalizing their phones with music, games, wallpaper and bling.
2 Must Have Features:
There are two must have cell phone features that most mobile callers would agree on
Bluetooth Cell Phone Features
Bluetooth is definitely a must have cell phone feature. Bluetooth is the best wireless technology to date, allowing two devices to communicate over a short distance. So, in simpler terms, Bluetooth earbuds and headsets create a connection from your headset to your phone wirelessly, that only your phone and your headset can recognize and use. With the push of one button you can send and receive calls and enjoy the safety of a limited network. The little headsets are pretty lightweight and fit snug in the ear with great audio quality.
Text Messaging
Text messaging is definitely one of the most useful of cell phone features, and is enjoyed and used by millions worldwide. This is a super useful alternative to making phone calls because it allows you to carry more than one conversation at a single time. Texting is fun, easy and quick, and allows for sending of pictures and videos as well. They can be sent to multiple people at one time and the reply rate is quick, often a 3 minute call versus a 30 second text.
iPhone Insurance: The Lowdown on Free Sim Cards
Free sim cards are incredibly popular amongst mobile phone users. One of the main advantages is that they give a fast and easy transition from contracts that cost the customer on a regular basis. Pay as you go sim cards are the most flexible choice for users in payment terms, as there is no expectation at all to top up every 30 days. We’ll examine the tariffs available:
Orange Free Sims
Orange offer 4 diverse categories to their pay as you go offering – Dolphin, Canary, Racoon and Camel.
Dolphin is aimed at textaholics - with extra texts available.
Canary is great for off peak calls (evenings and weekends).
Racoon is the deal for off and on peak (all day) calls.
Camel provides cheaper international call and message rates.
For more information about the Orange prepay propostition, see Free Orange Sims.
o2 Free Sims
o2, like Orange, offer multiple choices depending on your mobile usage patterns:
Favourite Place gives extra call minutes from a nominated location, for example where you live.
Talkalotmore is designed for evening and weekend callers.
Text Anytime as the name suggests is ideal for sending sms messages.
o2 Unlimited at the time of writing is the most popular option, with unlimited calls and texts to other o2 phones.
Your Country is the final option, specialising in phoning overseas.

It’s also worth looking at sim only contracts if you are a regular phone user. Although it does still technically mean signing up for a contract, they can typically be cancelled after a month, and a month can cost as little as a tenner. In other words, if you top up by £10 or more a month this is probably the right option for you. All the big mobile networks now offer something along these lines, and there’s plenty of information available on the internet – a useful overview table is available here.
