Sony Ericsson has released some truly amazing phones during recent times especially when it comes to the walkman range but have often remained in the shadow of Nokia. However recently the manufacturer has been releasing some really good phones to allow him to catch up his rivals. The following article contains a brief review of 3 Sony Ericsson that is worth considering.
The first phone to consider is the W995, a device that has been released in May 2009. This phone offers a 2.6 inch color display which is indeed one of its negative points when compared to today’s phone offering. However the phone has strength in other areas. Indeed the phone is great when it comes to entertainment with the Walkman features: Shake control and SensMe. This place the phone as top of the range in the entertainment category. Another strength of the phone lies in its 8 MP camera providing users with some crisp pictures. Definitely recommended for those looking for a Walkman phone.
The Satio is another great phone from Sony Ericsson. The Satio comes with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display providing it with a rather responsive control. However the main attraction of this phone is its 12 MP camera which really place it at the top of the camera phones segment. The camera feature comes complete with LED and xenon flash to guarantee you some really good pictures. When it comes to connectivity the Satio will not disappoint you with a fast Wi-Fi connection and 3G connections. The negative point is that the flash is not that powerful especially for a phone that wants to position itself as a top-of-the-range camera phone.
If you are not in a hurry there is the Xperia X10 that is expected to hit the shelves in 2010. This Sony Ericsson cellphone is based on Google’s operating system, Android and attempts to build on the success of the Xperia series. In terms of features you will have a 8 MP camera and a 4 inch touchscreen display. When it comes to connectivity the phone boast a Wi-Fi connection and 3G to make sure you stay connected wherever you are. You will also have access to a built-in GPS receiver to guide you during your outings. In my opinion this is a phone that is worth waiting.
