The iPhone 3G. Everything, Everywhere.

The iPhone 3G has a whole host of extra features designed to keep you connected in every way possible, no matter where you are.

The technology that allows you to surf the web using your phones signal has been around for quite some time. The problem is that it’s pretty expensive. You are basically paying for the price of a call on your phone for the duration.
Then, along came WiFi for the phone. This enables you to surf the net using the built-in wireless connection. And (assuming you already have a wireless router, or are using a “Hot Spot”) it’s free.

The iPhone has splendid WiFi connectivity, but suppose you want to get online, and don’t have a WiFi connection, and don’t wish to use your service provider?

Another neat addition is GPS. This will locate exactly where you are, and then find directions and phone numbers of the nearest taxi company, hospital, pub or pizza hut…everything you could ever wish for.

Just one word of warning if you own, or are thinking of buying one of these fantastic devices. Insure it. Make sure you are covered for theft, loss or damage. The longer you own an iPhone, the more you realise life would be impossible without it. They are very sought after, not just by you and I, but by thieves as well.
